Heat tubing until solder flows into wire(s) Each Solder ‘N Seal terminal contains a pre-measured amount of solder. GM no longer recommends crimped connections when performing repairs to computer, sensor or related harness wires or pigtail replacements. Due to very low currents, it is important to solder all wire splice joints to ensure good electrical conductivity, and to properly seal the repair to prevent moisture or corrosion from future occurrence. * Heating with an open flame may result in unsatisfactory connections. Use of a heat gun is strongly recommended. See page D11-17 for #814127 Hot Air Gun.
